We bought our first home!
Our awesome realtor found this house for us right before it went on the market. He took us to see it the first day it was on the market. We walked in and knew it was our home. We put in an offer than night and the following day the sellers countered and we accepted!
We are closing on March 13th! I promise to post pictures once we move in!
We had our inspection last week and the sellers have agreed to fix all but 4 of the things we asked for and for those four items, they are giving us an allowance so we can pick out the ones we want!
Some of my favorite things about our first home:
- tons of mature oak trees in the front and back
- large kitchen
- real hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallway
- it has a bonus room/den so GH can have his "man room"
- walk in closet in the master {that's hard to come by in older, ranch style homes}
- huge fireplace that you can walk all the way around and it separates the living room from the dinning room
- it has a cute front porch that I can't wait to buy some rocking chairs for
I can't believe how great this process has been. God is so good. We are blessed that He has provided us with such a great first home!

Congrats! All of those things sound fabulous, especially the fireplace! We looked at a home like that and I LOVED how it separated the two rooms! That tree is gorgeous! We built on an empty lot so we have NO trees - you will enjoy those! Can't wait to see more pictures!
