I would love to be able to walk in and just have anything I wanted. I adore Saks and I used to shop there when I lived in Houston. We didn't have one in Waco, and I am so excited to be back in a city that has one!

Fettuccine Pasta Salad

This week's recipe is my version of my favorite pasta salad from Souper Salad.

Ingredients:

1 pkg fettuccine noodles (broken in half)

1 can of corn

1 ½ c mayo

1 c parmesan cheese

1 bunch green onion, chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

1 ½ tsp pepper

2 chicken bouillon cubes, crushed

Directions:

1. Cook pasta according to directions in the corn juice and 1 bouillon cube. Drain.
2. Combine mayo, parmesan, 1 crushed bouillon, garlic, and pepper. 
3. Heat in microwave for 3 minutes, stirring after 1 ½ minutes.
4. Mix with pasta, corn, and green onions.

This is best if refrigerated for a couple of hours before serving.

Well hello there!

I have missed all of you wonderful bloggers!

We have been busy the last couple of weeks, and I haven't posted at all this month so I am catching you up with some photos!

This past weekend we went down to Belton to visit the hubs family. His grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary!

The weekend before that we went to the Colonial Golf Tournament with our besties. It's our annual family vacation. This was my second year to go, but GH has been going with the guys for 12 years! Each year we plant ourselves at hole #8 and enjoy the day!

They go Thursday-Saturday. After this trip, I decided that 2 days is my max {I will use the other 2 days to shop}! Somehow, I managed to put sunscreen on everywhere except my chest. I am still peeling. Awesome.

Technically they don't allow cameras on the course, you're not even supposed to have your cell phones on, I got yelled at a few times while checking Twitter. Whoops.

However, I was sneaky enough to sneak a picture of one of my favorite golfers John Daly and post it immediately, maybe that's why they don't want people to have cameras and phones?!

In case you were wondering, I choose which golfers I like based on who/what they wear and who their sponsors are!
