I am so behind on posting pictures of my classroom. I think about it when I get to school at 6:20 every morning. I always talk my self out of taking them because I want to wait until it is perfect. Meaning, I have curtains that I want to make to hang over my floor to ceiling windows, I need a new rug for my reading area, and the list goes on.
I just don't have the energy or the time to make said curtains or to find the perfect rug.
So, here is my classroom!

This is our Math wall and one of my small group areas.
This is our technology station and our Science wall.
Each table group has what we call an 'office'. It is a must-have for me. It holds pencils, scissors, glue, post it notes, crayons, markers, and hand sanitizer. I love them because with these, my students are not wandering around the room all day looking for supplies!
Here is our main Reading and Writing wall.
Here's another wall dedicated to Writing and my desk and 2nd small group area in the back corner.

I am seriously going to attempt to make my own curtains this weekend. I don't even have a sewing machine...this can't end well. I'll keep you posted on the progress. If there is any to report.
Update: I made my curtains!
Happy Wednesday lovelies!

It looks great! 6:20 in the morning?! That's super early...what time does school get out?
I love your classroom! It is so bright, open and cheery! Thanks for sharing!
Love your room! Looks so spacious! I wish we had white boards..chalk boards are lame..haha
I love seeing pictures of classrooms and yours is great! I love how you have a wall for the different content areas. You know you can always use a glue gun if you don't have a sewing machine. I've heard it works GREAT!!!
Wow, at work at 6:20?! You are dedicated, that's for sure :).
Your room looks great! It seems like it is a pretty big room and a newer school. I hope and pray that my first classroom will have whiteboards and not chalkboards.
wow, so organized, hope you have great kids to fill this room and make your day worth being there. Happy school year!
Those are the most interesting desks I have seen! I love them!
Super cute classroom! I don't know if you've made your curtains yet... but have you ever been to The Nester's blog? She makes window mistreatments, as she calls them.... without sewing! And they're gorgeous! Here is the link to get you started: http://www.thenester.com/2008/01/window-mistreatment-101.html
Good luck!
Love your room and I saw the curtains in another post. They came out great!!
